Intermediate Concrete Slabs

Intermediate concrete slabs are horizontal structures, fulfilling the function of interflooring or roof slabs, being installed between the roof and the last floor of the building. Types of Intermediate Concrete Slabs

Cast-in-place slabs are manufactured immediately at the construction site during the in-situ concreting:

  • Making forms;
  • Installation of reinforcing cages;
  • Concrete pouring.

Such intermediate slabs are predominately used when the project is a frame, being made of cast-in-place concrete. However, in the case of precast solutions of the frame, almost every project has a territory with a cast-in-place intermediate slab.

 Advantages of cast-in-place solutions:

  • saving material consumption;
  • there are no joints between slabs and as a result, there is more efficient and leak-proof floor structure;
