Shoreline stabilization structures
VESTT Company is engaged in industrial and civil construction in shoreline area. Our construction experience makes up over 30 years of active work. Thus, one of our focus area is coastal reinforcement.
VESTT conducts coastal reinforcement by using sheet piles and erection of cutoff sheet pile walls. Installation of removal of sheet piles is carried out by means of vibropiling.
The wall ceases underground waters and thus prevents spreading of poisonous and polluting substances into soil.

Advantages of this method:
- High resistance to wave and ice loading;
- An opportunity to safely stabilize shore of deep water reservoirs;
- Provision of deep water near walls;
- Decay- and corrosion-resistance;
- Exploitation in sea water;
- Concrete piles do not require constant care and control over their condition;
- Backfilling material scouring is completely excluded;
- They meet maximum loads.
In our Odessa Region much attention should be paid to the reliability of structural unit installing since natural force of the waves during storm, flood, tornado could do a lot of damage both to moored vessels and nearby territories. For long-lasting operation of piers, quays, berths, mooring berths it is important to reinforce them at the stage of erection. For this purpose safe and secure piles are used.
Vibropiling technology supposes the use of special equipment that forms required frequency of pile sinking as well as sets the amplitude direction.
All works are carried out by using a vibrating hammer, more specifically, a special mechanism consisting of electric motor, exciter, and capping. Due to targeted impact gradual immersion with minimum friction coefficient is carried out.
In the park of machines of VESTT there are caterpillar cranes with various carrying capacity, vibratory pile driver, sheet piles. Total length of sheet piles makes up 1000 meters. This allows to erect structures of various geometrical shapes.
VESTT uses hydraulic pile driver. SPEC SHEET ICE 28RF (640), 2006 is an equipment for driving-in and pulling of piles.
