VESTT-930012 3-axle platform semitrailer
1. INTENDED USE
The platform that is developed based on a semitrailer for the transportation of large equipment and any special-purpose machinery on the hard covered roads or general-purpose roads. As a basis, we used such towing trucks KAMAZ 54115 and MAZ 64229. Moreover, we studied other universal towing trucks with similar specifications.

Service Brake System and Parking Brake Components
The parking brake is activated by accumulators of an individual service brake part.
The standard braking system is on all wheels at once. The braking system drive is pneumatic made in the form of two-wire system. We used drum-type brakes.
By standard, there is ABS according to 2s/2m scheme on the platform (manufactured by WABCO). In special cases at the customer’s request we can equip with EBS.
Electrical Devices and Additional Equipment
There is a one-wire system fed from a single source of the traction battery. The colour, location, and number of devices meet the requirements of DSTU UN/ЕСЕ R48-02 in full.
As additional equipment there are:
- block stops for fastening vehicles (2 pcs);
- drop ramps (2 pcs);
- rear wheel splash guards.
Undercarriage and Platform
The undercarriage is made of three axles of the pneumatic type manufactured by VESTT. The tubed tires are on the air-powered basis, 235/75 R17.5. Doubled wheels fixed to the hub by screw nuts according to GOST 8918-70. The total number of wheels taking into consideration the spare extra one is 13 pieces.
The platform length is 100 m. It is equipped with special ramps for driving into and special front-end bend for its fixing. Nonremovable front board and two sideboards and one back removable board allow extending the platform for outsized vehicles.
Frame
The structure is made of low alloy carbon steels. There is a removable coupling pin diameter of 2” fixed using M14 bolts, with the strength category of 10.9 points. Cross members are made of one-piece rolled pipe and passed through the holes in the side members, and welded on to improve the strength. The side members are made of 09G2S steel and made in the form of the welded I beam.
Colour
GF-021 precoating is covered with two layers of PF-115 enamel. Any colour is possible according to the customer’s request.
